I have 44 subscriptions in NetNewsWire and yet the only one to prompt me to write my own blog entry is "Jon's Radio". His latest post is about running a local HTTP proxy between your web browser and every website you visit to provide added value.
Very neat idea. One of his examples includes persisting your browsing history - URLs and page contents, into a local database. Then some post processing to link everything together... This reminded me of a project called TrailBlazer which is new web browser for Mac OS X that presents a graphical browser history. Cool -- but would have been cooller had it been a local proxy that would work with any browser...
