I'm sitting inside Trees coffee shop on Granville @ Hastings -- in Vancouver BC -- enjoying a very nice roast beef and swiss sandwich with a side of wifi. Managed to get through my list of blogs and even discovered some new ones after reading through mono's list of well design blogs.

The list made me realize two things. One, I should learn more about CSS/XHTML based design and two, I need to stop using my email client to post articles. The first realization is obvious, the second may need some clarification. I use Apple's mail client to post my articles. Unfortunately the mail client does not allow me to use HTML when authoring - instead it uses RTF. So... if I want a blog with nicely formated articles then I'll have to move to a new authoring tool.

Side rant: if you're going to offer free wifi, can't you also open up ports for email and IM? Because mail is blocked I can't even post this until I get home.
